This administrator also conducts regular asset verifications and issues independent custody balance reports available on the Bitwise website, ensuring the highest standards of transparency.
As part of our commitment to maintaining high standards of security and transparency, our UK management company, which oversees our issuer in Germany, has been certified under the international ISO/IEC 27001:2017 standard. Achieving this certification reflects consistent effort and careful attention to information security practices across our business operations.

ISO/IEC 27001:2017 is the leading international standard for information security. Certification requires organizations to undergo rigorous audits to verify that appropriate procedures and policies are in place to meet the highest standards of information security management. Bitwise’s certification audit was conducted by the British Assessment Bureau, one of the largest and most respected certification authorities globally.
Digital asset management remains a relatively new area within financial services, and crypto ETPs are widely regarded as one of the most dynamic segments driving growth and innovation in exchange-traded products. Given the emerging nature of the asset class, not all providers operate to the same standards as more established financial institutions. At Bitwise, we are committed to applying best practices from traditional finance to the digital asset space.
